Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2009, le Code de conduite de Djibouti a pos\u00e9 les bases d\u2019une coop\u00e9ration concr\u00e8te contre la piraterie dans le golfe d\u2019Aden et au large de la Somalie : centres de partage d\u2019informations, entra\u00eenement des garde-c\u00f4tes, coordination entre marines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sign\u00e9 \u00e0 Djedda en 2017, l\u2019amendement du m\u00eame nom a \u00e9largi le champ d\u2019action \u00e0 d\u2019autres menaces maritimes : p\u00eache ill\u00e9gale, trafic de drogues et d\u2019armes, contrebande d\u2019esp\u00e8ces prot\u00e9g\u00e9es, vol de p\u00e9trole brut, traite d\u2019\u00eatres humains ou encore pollution volontaire. En un peu plus d\u2019une d\u00e9cennie, le dispositif est ainsi pass\u00e9 d\u2019une r\u00e9ponse anti-piraterie \u00e0 un outil global de gouvernance maritime r\u00e9gionale, soutenu par l\u2019OMI et plusieurs partenaires internationaux.<\/p>\n<p>En rejoignant le Code, Paris veut renforcer son engagement dans la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 maritime r\u00e9gionale. Pr\u00e9sente militairement \u00e0 Djibouti, \u00e0 La R\u00e9union et \u00e0 Mayotte, la France participe d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 la surveillance du trafic dans le canal du Mozambique et le golfe d\u2019Aden. Son adh\u00e9sion vient formaliser cette contribution et faciliter la coop\u00e9ration avec les \u00c9tats c\u00f4tiers de la zone.<\/p>\n<p>Cette annonce co\u00efncide avec la huiti\u00e8me r\u00e9union de haut niveau des \u00c9tats signataires, qui se tient cette semaine \u00e0 Maurice (12-14 novembre).
