N\u00e9 \u00e0 Constantinople en 1905 et actif \u00e0 Paris dans l\u2019entre-deux-guerres, il appartient \u00e0 cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration d\u2019artistes cosmopolites qui ont profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 les avant-gardes des ann\u00e9es 1920 et 1930.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns=\" http:=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"937\" height=\"1217\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Capture-decran-2026-05-13-a-13.31.37.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Sans titre, vers 1927.Aquarelle et encre de Chine sur papier<br \/>Collection priv\u00e9e<br \/>\u00a9 Adagp, Paris, 2026<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019abord proche du cubisme tardif et des recherches constructivistes, il s\u2019oriente ensuite vers une abstraction rigoureuse avant d\u2019explorer, \u00e0 partir du milieu des ann\u00e9es vingt, des formes oniriques et biomorphiques qui le rapprochent<br \/>du surr\u00e9alisme.
