Natalie Portman smiled as she showed fans a glimpse of her idyllic life in Paris after she turned her back on America.
The 44-year-old actress moved to France back in 2014 after her then-husband Benjamin Millepied accepted a position as the director of the Paris Opera Ballet. While the pair have since divorced, Natalie has continued living in the French capital.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, May 7, Natalie shared several snaps of her life in Paris, captioning the post, “Paris lately.” Natalie lives in France with her partner Tanguy Destable, with the couple recently announcing they’re expecting their first child together.

The first image in the Instagram carousel showed a makeup-free Natalie smiling as she strolled along the River Seine. The picture was taken as the sun was setting on Paris and boats could be seen making their way up and down the river.
Natalie also showed off some artwork and shared a picture of her dog lying in front of a bookcase. One picture featured a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers.

The Black Swan actress also gave fans a glimpse of the French countryside as she shared a picture of a green field with yellow flowers. Her Instagram post ended with a blurry shot of her face as she walked through the streets of Paris.
Fans were loving the pictures, with one person commenting, “Paris The things I definitely miss most about this city are the museums and the bookstores.” Another said, “Love you girlie,” adding a red heart emoji.
A third fan added a black heart emoji and said, “These pics.” Others commented rows of flower emojis and red and purple heart emojis.

Natalie’s post came just weeks after she announced she’s pregnant with her third child. The 44-year-old said she feels “lucky” and “grateful” to be pregnant again.
Natalie is already mother to Aleph, 14, and Amalia, nine, from her marriage to Benjamin. Natalie and Benjamin split in 2023, with their high-profile divorce being finalized in 2024. This will be her first child with Tanguy.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Natalie said, “Tanguy and I are very excited,” before adding, “I’m just very grateful. I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Natalie and Tanguy were first romantically linked in March 2025, a year after her divorce was finalized. Natalie split from her ex Benjamin following rumors he had an affair with a 25-year-old French climate activist.
Tanguy is a French electronic music producer who goes by the name Tepr professionally. Tanguy also has two children. He shares 10-year-old Étienne and six-year-old Vadim with French actress Louis Bourgoin.
