Eva Longoria can’t say au revoir to France quite yet.

CNN will run a second cycle of her “Eva Longoria: Searching for France,” the latest in a series of cuisine-focused travel programs that have dispatched the actress, producer and director to Spain and Mexico as well. The next season of the show will debut in 2027.

“CNN has been an incredible partner over years now, and I’m thrilled to be heading back to one of my favorite places in the world together,” said Longoria, in a statement. “One of the things I love most about ‘Searching For’ is how thoroughly researched and immersive the journey becomes, allowing us to uncover stories and practices you wouldn’t experience otherwise.” She believes the first season of her explorations of France left viewers with a taste for more. “There’s still so much left to explore in France — families preserving centuries-old traditions, ingredients shaping culinary standards, and chefs driving what comes next. I’m thrilled to bring viewers along for the second leg of this unforgettable adventure.” 

The second season will send Longoria through Champagne and Lyon, among other regions.. 

“As we looked at the response to the first season, it became clear there was still so much of France left to uncover,” said Amy Entelis, executive vice president of talent, CNN Originals and creative development for CNN Worldwide, in a statement. “Eva has a rare ability to connect deeply with people and places, and returning for a second season allows her to go even further, revealing the unexpected stories that continue to make France an endlessly rich and inspiring cultural landscape.” 

CNN has over the years built a formidable library of travel programs, including Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown” and Stanley Tucci’s “Searching for Italy.” The programs are made available on CNN’s streaming app and in related digital venues.

Executive Producers for ”Searching for France” are Eva Longoria, Cris Abrego, Rachelle Mendez, and Shauna Minoprio for Hyphenate Media Group; Eve Kay for Dragonfly; and Amy Entelis and Lyle Gamm for CNN Original Series. Minoprio also serves as showrunner. Banijay Rights will handle international distribution of the series.
