We’re hours away from the 2026 NFL schedule release, but game dates are already being leaked on the New Orleans Saints‘ opponents. The latest rumors have the Saints visiting the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18 for a kickoff at Noon CT/1 p.m. ET. That would fall in Week 6 just before the Saints fly out for a Week 7 game in Paris against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It would make a lot of sense for the Saints to plan on flying directly from New York to France; travel times top out at around seven and a half hours, and a private chartered flight would get there sooner. That’s the same approach the Saints took back in 2022, when they traveled from Charlotte, N.C. to London, England for their last NFL International Series game. That gives them a full week to acclimate to a new time zone and prepare for that Steelers game.

But back to the Giants. The Saints have tied up the all-time series with Big Blue by winning four of their last five games, putting them at 17-17 since first meeting back in 1967. We’ll see two second-year quarterbacks go at it between Tyler Shough and Jaxson Dart, and a lot of narratives are already building as they try to take the next step in their respective careers. A head-to-head win would add more fuel to that fire. We’ll find out for sure when these two teams will compete when the NFL schedule release drops on Thursday evening.
