If you know me, you know that Ratatouille is my favorite movie. So, while I was in Disneyland Paris, my first stop was Chez Rémy, the Ratatouille-themed restaurant inspired by the Pixar film.
The moment you walk inside, you feel like you’ve stepped straight into the movie. Everything is supersized, making you feel like you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a rat.
With giant corks, bottle caps, enormous plates, and silverware towering over the tables, the entire dining room looks like it’s set inside a massive kitchen, which instantly makes the experience feel super fun and immersive.
It’s one of those restaurants where you can’t help but look around the room before even opening the menu.
Ordering the Remy tasting menu
To get the full experience, I ordered the Remy tasting menu, which comes with multiple courses inspired by French cuisine.
The meal started with a bowl of soup that was silky smooth and perfectly seasoned, as if Remy himself had prepared it in the kitchen. It was simple, comforting, and a great way to start the meal.

The ratatouille that won me over
For my entrée, I ordered fish with a side of ratatouille, which felt like the obvious choice at a restaurant inspired by the movie.
At first, I’ll admit I was a little disappointed that the ratatouille didn’t look exactly like the beautifully layered version from the film. But the moment I tasted it, I completely changed my mind.
It was rich, tender, and packed with flavor. Honestly, it was one of the best ratatouille dishes I’ve ever had and even inspired me to create my own ratatouille recipe at home.

Ending the meal on a sweet note
To finish the meal, I ordered a lemon meringue tart, which brought a bright, citrusy finish to the tasting menu. It was light, sweet, and the perfect way to end the experience.

Between the immersive design and the surprisingly great food, eating at Chez Rémy ended up being one of the most memorable meals I had in Disneyland Paris and is definitely worth a try!
