Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately 59 units of its 2026 Jeep® Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L due to a potentially disconnected front camera wiring harness. If the harness is not properly connected, the rearview camera image may fail to display when the vehicle is placed in reverse. As a result, the affected vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 111, “Rear Visibility.”

The recall affects 46 Grand Wagoneer models built between October 10 and December 12, 2025, and 13 Grand Wagoneer L models built between October 4 and December 13, 2025. According to Stellantis, the issue may have occurred on vehicles that underwent post-assembly rework, during which the front camera wiring harness may not have been reconnected properly.

On February 12, 2026, the FCA US LLC (“FCA US”) Technical Safety Regulatory Compliance (“TSRC”) organization opened an investigation into some 2026 MY Jeep Grand Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer L vehicles which may not have had the front camera wire harness reconnected after a rework.
From February 2026 through April 2026, FCA US TSRC reviewed dealer reports, warranty data, field records, and customer assistance records to determine field occurrences.
From February 2026 through April 2026, FCA US TSRC met with FCA US Engineering and Manufacturing to understand all potential failure modes of the issue.
On April 29, 2026, FCA US TSRC organization recognized that a vehicle rework issue existed on certain vehicles related to a camera harness being disconnected potentially resulting in a noncompliance with FMVSS No. 111.
On May 14 2026, FCA US determined, through the Vehicle Regulations Committee, that a noncompliance to FMVSS No. 571.111 exists on all affected vehicles.
To remedy the issue, dealers will inspect the front camera wiring harness connection and reconnect it if necessary, at no cost to the owner. Notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 9, 2026. Owners with questions can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 and reference recall number 47D.
