A man from the town of Mexico is dead after police say he crashed his motorcycle in the town of Paris.Police say the crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Park Street.Police say Carleton Merrill, 33, was driving a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle south on Park Street when he passed another vehicle. Police say he then lost control when he tried to avoid hitting another vehicle.Police say Merrill went off the road and hit an embankment. He was taken to Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway where he died.Police said it appears that speed was a factor in the crash.This is the second deadly crash involving a motorcycle in Paris in the last month.
