Officers responded to a report of a stolen trailer in the 1200 blk of W. Washington. The owner told officers that an unknown person took the trailer without their permission. The trailer was valued between $2,500 and $30k. The incident is under investigation.

Officers responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 1200 blk of SE 12th St. that resulted in the death of the driver. The incident is under investigation.

Officers responded to a report of a Theft at a business in the 3800 blk of Lamar Ave. Two known suspects stole several items from the business, and both have 2 or more previous convictions for Theft of Property <$2,500. The incident is under investigation.

Officers responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon call in the 1100 blk of NW 15th St. The victim told officers that the known suspect had threatened to cause them serious bodily injury with a deadly weapon. The incident is under investigation.

Officers took a report of Identity Theft. The victim reported that their DEA prescription number had been obtained and used in various locations. The incident is under investigation.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 blk of Lamar Ave. During the stop, Michael Hall was found to have narcotics in his possession and was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 2 >=1g<4g. He was booked into jail without incident.

Officers responded to the 600 blk of NW 9th St. to investigate a motor vehicle accident. Officers were informed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene. The incident is still under investigation.

Officers responded to the 800 blk of NW 27th to investigate a Family Disturbance. Officers were advised that the known suspect had assaulted family members and has done so in the past. The suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The suspect will be charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family.

Officers arrested Kanisha Perkins in the 4300 blk of Bonham on warrants for Driving While Intoxicated w/ Child Under 15 Years Old and Motion to Revoke on Evading Arrest/Detention w/ Vehicle. Perkins was transported to the Police Dept. and booked without incident.

Officers arrested Derwin Hardison in the 3800 blk of Lamar for Theft after he stole items from a business. Hardison was transported to the Police Dept. where it was discovered that Hardison had two or more previous convictions of theft, which enhanced this offense to a felony. Hardison was booked in without further incident.

Officers responded to a Burglary of a Residence in the 1400 blk of W. Kaufman. The victim told officers that someone had entered their home and took several items without permission. The incident is under investigation.

Officers responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident in the 800 blk of Lamar. During the investigation, Officers discovered that one of the parties involved was in possession of a controlled substance. The incident is under investigation.
