Maison Schiaparelli kicked off Paris Haute Couture Week today with a burst of creativity. Led by creative director Daniel Roseberry, the house presented its Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection, titled “The Abyss,” at the iconic Place Vendôme in the City of Light. Staying true to the brand’s deeply artistic, surrealist aesthetic, the collection took inspiration from sea life and the striking, fantastical silhouettes found in nature. The designer experimented with marine-inspired textures, molded silhouettes, iridescent colors, and other-worldly designs that on the human body exuded freedom, fun, and glamour.

“Take my hand and jump off with me into the bliss of the abyss,” Roseberry concluded in his show notes.

Among the notable faces who walked the runway were Karlie Kloss (straight off her unexpected appearance at Taylor Swift’s New York City wedding), former Harper’s Bazaar cover star Anok Yai, and Mona Tougaard.

And the front row was even more star-studded. VIP guests included Bad Bunny (who attended with his brother Bernie Martínez Ocasio), Michelle Yeoh, Emma Corrin, Vera Wang, Law Roach, and Chiara Ferragni.

Paris Haute Couture Week begins today, July 6, and wraps on Thursday, July 9. Today, apart from Schiaparelli, the city will host shows from Christian Dior and Rahul Mishra. Tuesday will see shows from Chanel and Giorgio Armani Privé; Wednesday will welcome Balenciaga, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Manish Malhotra. And the week will conclude with shows from Fendi and Adeline André.
