Warning Signs
According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there are no warning signs that consistently precede the failure. However, some owners may notice degraded lighting performance or receive a warning message in the instrument cluster indicating a lighting system malfunction.
Suspect Period
The suspect period began on October 29, 2025, when production of vehicles equipped with the affected premium headlamp assemblies started, and ended on February 16, 2026, when production of those assemblies concluded. Stellantis used supplier records and vehicle production data to identify the affected vehicle population.
Vehicles built outside of this production window or not equipped with the premium headlamp assemblies are not included in the recall.
The affected headlamp assemblies were supplied by Marelli North America.

On June 25, 2026, FCA US determined, through the Vehicle Regulations Committee, that a noncompliance to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108 exists in certain vehicles.
The Fix
Dealers will inspect the affected headlamp assemblies and replace them as necessary at no cost to owners. Stellantis expects to mail interim owner notification letters on July 30, 2026, informing customers of the safety risk while the company finalizes the repair.
A second notification letter will be mailed once the final remedy is available. Owners with questions can contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 and reference recall number 62D. Affected Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) became searchable on the NHTSA website beginning July 9, 2026.
