Emirates To Debut Its Flagship Airbus A380 In Delhi From October 2026

Emirates’ Airbus A380 will land in Delhi on October 25, 2026. Delhi will be the third Indian destination serviced by the iconic double-decker aircraft. Emirates already operates the aircraft on the Dubai to Mumbai and Dubai to Bengaluru routes.

According to a report on the Emirates’ official website, the A380 will operate on flights EK512 and EK513 in a four-class configuration, adding more seats on one of Emirates’ busiest India routes. Passengers will have access to Premium Economy Cabins, elevated comfort, and enhanced onboard amenities once the route becomes operational. These cabins will also be available on the Boeing 777-operated EK511, EK515 and EK517. The cabins will feature spacious cream leather seats with generous legroom and reclining space, refined dining options served on chinaware, and an extensive suite of amenities.

In addition, the report states that Premium Economy will be offered on flights to 6 Indian cities from the end of October. The flights will include Delhi, 22 weekly from Mumbai, 9 weekly from Ahmedabad, 7 weekly from Bengaluru, 12 weekly from Kolkata and 2 weekly from Kochi.

Further, from October 25, the daily Kolkata to Dubai route EK570 and EK571 will be operated by the airline’s next-generation A350. It is currently served by a Boeing 777. Premium Economy seating will be available across all flights between Kolkata and Dubai, with the flights EK572 and 573 operating 5 times a week on a four-class retrofitted B777.
