Disneyland Paris marked France’s national holiday on July 14 with a breathtaking nighttime spectacular that transformed the skies above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

During the special Bastille Day celebration, guests were treated to a one-night-only show featuring more than 1,600 drones, projections, lighting effects, and a storyline led by Tinker Bell.

Tinker Bell Led Guests Through Disney and Pixar Worlds

Tinker Bell whisked Sleeping Beauty Castle away on a magical journey through some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved stories. The synchronized drone choreography, created by official partner Dronisos, combined with projections and lighting effects to fill the night sky with iconic characters and landmarks.

Guests spotted aerial formations inspired by films including Peter Pan, Frozen, Aladdin, Brave, and Mulan, along with recognizable French landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, before the show concluded with a tricolor Mickey Mouse in the colors of the French flag.

Continuing a Record-Breaking Tradition

Disneyland Paris has become known for pushing the boundaries of drone entertainment during its annual Bastille Day celebrations.

Last year’s performance earned a Guinness World Record for the largest aerial display of a fictional character when 1,571 drones formed a giant Mickey Mouse in the colors of the French flag. This year’s show once again concluded with the iconic tricolor Mickey, continuing one of the resort’s most beloved Bastille Day traditions.
