Louis Vuitton presents ‘Rebonds,’ a new edition of the iconic book first published in 1998, symbolising unity in support of UNICEF and featuring contributions from more than 100 international celebrities.
‘Rebonds,’ the cover
The French fashion house places at the heart of ‘Rebonds’ a ball, rendered in Louis Vuitton’s signature colours and emblems, that passes from hand to hand. A simple, universal gesture that transcends age, cultures, and borders, in which this spherical object is reimagined as a unifying symbol, connecting people across themes, places, and stories, all bound by a shared commitment to children.
First published in 1998 in the wake of the FIFA World Cup, with all proceeds going to UNICEF, ‘Rebonds’ now returns in a new edition to celebrate 10 years of partnership between Louis Vuitton and the United Nations Children’s Fund.

The book is conceived as a visual narrative that unfolds across the globe, featuring around a hundred celebrities from film, music, contemporary art, sport, and fashion. They include several Louis Vuitton Ambassadors, alongside figures such as Nigo, Céline Dion, Zlatan Ibrahimović, and Pedro Almodóvar.
Among the Italian figures who took part in the project are Alessandro Del Piero and Fabio Cannavaro, 2006 World Cup winners; Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1; brothers Chicco and Bobo Cerea of the three‑Michelin‑starred ‘Da Vittorio’; and Leonardo Zambrino, executive chef at ‘Da Vittorio’ and at ‘Le Café Louis Vuitton’ in Shanghai. The Italian art and cinema worlds are represented by artist Giuseppe Penone and actor Pierfrancesco Favino.

Photographed in Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Shanghai, London, Milan, and Avignon- sometimes in the intimacy of their own environments and at other times outdoors- the celebrities create a collective narrative in which the diversity of their backgrounds fuels a shared vision.
On the cover, Louis Vuitton’s Monogram ball embodies global unity, while quotations scattered throughout the book add a human dimension, weaving the different photographic styles into a fluid, coherent narrative. The volume opens with two forewords by Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, and Felix, a member of Stray Kids, a Louis Vuitton Ambassador, and a UNICEF Ambassador for Korea.

All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to UNICEF, supporting its vital work for vulnerable children around the world. Already available in all Louis Vuitton stores, ‘Rebonds’ is priced at $150.
