Renault Korea will supply its Grand Koleos as police patrol cars.
Renault Korea said on the 29th that it had been selected for the Korean National Police Agency’s multipurpose patrol car supply project.
The Grand Koleos was previously selected as a replacement model in the police agency’s multipurpose patrol car pilot project last year, with 50 units supplied. With this latest project win, the total supply volume will expand to 110 units.
The police agency’s multipurpose patrol car supply project was carried out in line with its policy of advancing vehicles and diversifying models. The Grand Koleos received high marks in a preference survey based on its strong product competitiveness, including convenience and safety features.
The Grand Koleos Gasoline 2.0 Turbo 4WD model selected for this project applies BorgWarner’s sixth-generation all-wheel-drive system and an intelligent all-wheel-drive system, providing stable driving performance across various road and weather conditions. It is also equipped with a full range of field-optimized convenience and safety features, including six driving modes and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
The 50 units ordered in 2025 have been deployed to frontline police stations nationwide after undergoing police specialty modification work and final inspection. Renault Korea plans to supply the 60 units ordered this time by December.
