
PARIS, Texas — One of Northeast Texas’ most anticipated summer traditions is back as the 69th Annual Paris Rodeo rides into town on Friday, Aug. 7, and Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at 8 p.m. each night.
Sanctioned by the UPRA, CPRA, CRRA, and LRCA, this year’s rodeo promises two nights of exciting rodeo action, featuring top competitors from across the region.
Fans can also enjoy the Thursday Night Slack on Aug. 6 at 6 p.m., offering an additional opportunity to watch contestants compete before the main performances.
Special entertainment will include Johnny “Backflip” Dudley, known for his crowd-pleasing, high-energy performances.
Parade Kicks Off Rodeo Weekend
The annual Paris Rodeo Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, at 10 a.m. Lineup begins at 9 a.m. at the Lamar County Courthouse.
Family-Friendly Events
The rodeo also features activities for younger cowboys and cowgirls, including:
Junior Barrel Jackpot (ages 6 and under) on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 7 p.m., with entries opening July 28 from 2–6 p.m.
Mutton Busting (ages 6 and under, under 60 pounds), with entries opening July 29 from 6–9 p.m.
