Dr. Martens has appointed Alia Gogi as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 September 2026.

Gogi brings extensive experience in international retail and consumer businesses, particularly in omnichannel operations and Asian markets.

She most recently served as President at Sephora Asia, where she oversaw operations across ten markets.

During her time at Sephora, she also held roles including Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Asia and Greater China.

Earlier in her career, Gogi worked in senior commercial roles at A.S. Watson Group and in brand and category management at Nestlé and J Sainsbury. She is also currently an Independent Director of global beauty company Coty.

Upon joining the Dr. Martens board, Gogi will become a member of the Audit & Risk, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Chairman Paul Mason said: ‘The board is pleased to welcome Alia to Dr. Martens. As we continue to execute our consumer-first strategy, her strong consumer and product focus, together with her international perspective and experience of omnichannel growth, will bring valuable insight as we continue to develop and scale the Dr. Martens brand globally.”

The appointment follows the company’s recent update reaffirming its guidance for the 2027 financial year. Dr. Martens said trading since the beginning of the year has been in line with expectations and that its outlook remains unchanged.

Dr. Martens also reported continued growth in the US, supported by strong wholesale performance. It said Japan and South Korea are performing well, while European markets are trading in line with expectations despite challenging consumer conditions.

Earlier in the year, the business restructured its senior leadership team by introducing dedicated General Managers across key markets, a move aimed at simplifying its operating model and strengthening local market focus.
