Minnie Driver is recovering after a “really bad car accident” in France.

Driver shared the news on her Instagram that the accident happened a “few days ago.” Her post showed a video of the actress lying in bed on her side with a neck brace back at her home in London.

The “Emily in Paris” star explained she and her friend, named Ben, were not at fault in the accident, which happened on a “country road” when another driver failed to stop at an intersection, resulting in Driver and her friend T-boning them.

Driver said she has a “sprained neck” and is “in shock” and crying all the time. She credits the car they were driving for saving their lives, a Kia EV2. “I’ve never been a crash before, but the 360 degree airbags are what saved our lives,” she said.

“I am so grateful to be alive. Thanks very much from me and my mate. And my family and the people who love me,” the “Good Will Hunting” star said.

Driver elaborated more on the crash in her caption for the video, writing, “Shout out to the van driver who stopped and helped us before the ambulances arrived. Special mention to the car who slowed down took in the scene and drove off without stopping. I guess this is the Dao of the world, the light and the dark.”

She continued, “My brain keeps replaying the crash which is very hard but seems to be a necessary part of processing. Weeping too, feels good and helpful. Thank you to my friends, my family, all the people at work and especially my friend Ben and his family. I love you.

Driving has been in France filming season 6 of “Emily Paris” since early June, per her Instagram.
