If you’re the sort of person who groans every time Christmas appears before the kids are back at school, look away now.
Yes, it’s only August. Yes, there are still holidays to be taken, barbecues to be had and hopefully a few more sunny days to enjoy. But the festive creep waits for no one – and neither, it seems, do beauty lovers.
Sephora UK has opened the waitlist for its hotly anticipated 2026 Advent Calendar, months before Christmas, with the retailer expecting another sell-out after the calendar disappeared from shelves for the past four years.
A sneak peak of the Sephora gift box
While the full contents remain under wraps, Sephora says this year’s edition will be its biggest yet. Worth more than £1,000, it will contain 41 beauty treats, including 27 full-size products and a selection of exclusives available only through Sephora.
The launch is particularly significant for Northern Ireland as it will be the first Christmas since Sephora opened its Belfast store at Victoria Square earlier this year, marking the beauty giant’s first physical presence on the island of Ireland.
With shoppers now able to browse festive beauty gifts in-store for the first time, demand is expected to be high.
Customers who sign up to the My Sephora loyalty programme and join the Advent Calendar waitlist will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of three calendars before they go on general sale.

The waitlist launch is the first of several festive announcements planned by Sephora UK, with more details on the Advent Calendar release date, Christmas gifting collections, exclusive products and festive in-store services at the Belfast store due in the coming months.
