Social media sensation and SouthCoast native Mikayla Nogueira finally spilled the beans on a secret she’s been holding on to for quite some time. “You know how hard it is to keep a secret for over year,” she said. The influencer turned businesswoman made the biggest announcement of her career: her products will soon be sold in Sephora locations across the U.S.
From Pandemic Startup to Nationwide Retail Shelves
Before announcing to a crowd of over 1,000 Sephora employees in Las Vegas, Nogueira shared the news with her followers on social media, recalling her humble beginnings while applying her own products and doing her makeup, quite similar to her Get Ready With Me (GRWM) videos that made her famous.
“I launched my brand Point of View Beauty just over a year ago and because of your support and how successful you have made my brand, I am launching in every single Sephora across the country and some stores in Canada,” Nogueira said. “The fact that my products are going to be more accessible than ever and you get to discover my brand and why it exists, I cannot believe this is happening.”

The Mission Behind Point of View Beauty
“My mission with Point of View was to take away the intimidation, make it super simple to build a skin prep routine and also make you feel like you can be your own makeup artist at home,” she said. Nogueira fell in love with makeup as a teen and worked in retail as a makeup artist. That’s where she first saw the need to educate her clients on skin prep.
Years later, the former WBSM and Fun 107 intern was able to launch her own line, something she takes much pride in. “I went to Korea and I formulated with the best chemists in Korea. Drench it is 60 percent rice water. My products are fragrance free, dermatologist tested, sensitive skin suitable. I made sure to check every box.”

For Nogueira, it’s a dream come true. “I hope to inspire you if you have a dream. Look where I began,” she said, referencing the fact that just a few years ago she was living with her parents during COVID “with nothing, just a dream. Now I’m sitting here about to launch in Sephora on September 3.”
She thanked her ride or die fans and followers for making her dream a reality. “I grew up going to shop at Sephora and now I’m going to be in Sephora with my brand and they believed in me,” she said. “This is all very surreal.”
