More Details of Ride Vehicle & Bugs Inside The Lion King Land at Disneyland Paris

Disney is offering a closer look at The Lion King land that is currently under construction at Disneyland Paris.

Yesterday, we got a glimpse of the Lion King attraction ride vehicle maquette and more on display at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Video at the event takes a closer look at construction of the full-sized vehicles. The photo above shows Imagineers creating the texture in the actual ride vehicles.

This close-up shows Rafiki’s artwork of Simba on the front of the log vehicle.

Some Imagineers were shown sculpting and designing delicious-looking bugs.

This computer model showcases the entire land, including the log flume ride. Rafiki’s baobab tree is near the bottom. There are several buildings on the right.

We’ve seen construction from afar but these images give us a look at the work from the ground. The Lion King land will be located next to World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World.
