LVMH has appointed Philippe Farnier to be deputy CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and the LVMH Beauty Division, effective immediately.

A highly experienced luxury executive, Farnier will report to Véronique Courtois, chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and the LVMH Beauty Division. 
 
LVMH added that, in his new role, Farnier will collaborate closely with Courtois on key strategic initiatives and oversee the commercial and omni-channel activities across the division. Farnier’s mission will be to lead its transformation in collaboration with the maisons to drive greater synergies, convergence, and competitiveness in a constantly evolving beauty market, LVMH said in an official release.

Farnier’s leadership and global industry insights will be crucial in solidifying the division’s market-leading position and guiding the future growth and evolution of the group’s maisons, the giant French luxury conglomerate added.

Farnier boasts over three decades of leadership in the global luxury. Beginning in 1990 with management roles at Mondelez and Heineken, he joined Yves Saint Laurent Beauté in 2003, where he became France general manager. His initial LVMH tenure started in 2008 as Parfums Christian Dior France general manager, promoted in 2013 to general manager travel retail EMEA and global marketing. In 2015, he became president and CEO Americas at Rémy Cointreau, then Rémy Martin’s CEO and head of CSR by 2018. Re-joining LVMH in April 2022, he’s now a COMEX member at Parfums Christian Dior, spearheading all commercial activities globally.
