Tiffany & Co. has unveiled its newest Southern California destination at South Coast Plaza, marking one of the luxury retailer’s most significant boutique openings in recent years. Conceived by acclaimed architect Peter Marino, the more than 15,000-square-foot space blends fine jewelry, contemporary art and striking architecture into an elevated retail experience, showcasing the House’s renowned high jewelry, diamond collections and iconic designs.

Jewelry lovers will be delighted to explore the sparkling store, which unfolds as an immersive gallery. Digital works by artist Oyoram bring the coastlines of Newport Beach and Laguna Beach to life throughout the space, while a custom light sculpture by architect Hugh Dutton creates a dramatic focal point above displays of Tiffany favorites, including HardWear, Bird on a Rock, Knot, Sixteen Stone, T and Lock.

The boutique also embraces California’s place in Tiffany’s gemological history. A rare morganite crystal from Mesa Grande, Calif., is on view at a Tiffany & Co. location for the first time, joined by archival jewelry featuring kunzite—the gemstone named after the House’s former chief gemologist, Dr. George Frederick Kunz, who helped introduce both stones to the jewelry world.
