L’Oréal Paris has announced that Emmy-nominated actress and producer Kristen Bell is its newest global ambassador.

Timed to the announcement, Bell appears in her debut campaign displaying a mix of her confidence and wit by introducing herself as the brand’s global ambassador on her own terms with L’Oréal Paris’ signature “You’re Worth It” tag line.

“‘You’re Worth It’ isn’t something L’Oréal Paris gave women — the worth was always ours,” said Bell. “What they gave us was permission to say it out loud. That’s the part that gets me. It isn’t about being made to feel valuable. It’s about a brand that handed women the mic before anyone else thought to.”

L’Oréal Paris said the actress’ authentic authority is what made her the “natural choice” to front the message for the campaign. The partnership between the two is an alignment in values — with beauty seen as both an active, daily choice and an expression of self-authorship. Moreover, L’Oréal Paris said the collaboration is “deeply rooted” in women’s everyday lives by leveraging high-caliber storytelling and accessibility with its range of products.

The debut campaign captures the essence of Bell by switching between chic, elevated vignettes and unpolished moments about her own daily life. Then, Bell takes over her own introduction to champion the idea that confidence lies in embracing the complex reality of ourselves.

“Kristen is a true force — she blends an unapologetic self-assurance with a genuine, down-to-earth warmth that immediately commands respect and connection,” said Laura Branik, president of L’Oréal Paris USA. “Welcoming her to L’Oréal Paris is a defining moment. This partnership isn’t just about showcasing incredible, trusted products; it’s about amplifying a powerful voice that inspires every woman to own her narrative and confidently define her own worth.”

Bell said that growing up she remembers “sneaking into [her] mom’s vanity, stealing five minutes with her L’Oréal Paris lipstick” before she was caught. Looking back, that moment was more so about trying on who Bell could be rather than the lipstick itself.

“[L’Oréal Paris] gave me the tools to go find out — and they’ve been doing that for women for decades. Not handing us an identity, but handing us permission to go try one,” continued Bell. “I’m proud to be a global ambassador of a brand that’s always understood the difference.”

Bell also shared exclusively with Fairchild Studio her go-tos from the brand, which include the Plump Ambition Hyaluron lip oil, Colour Riche Satin lipstick in the shade Worth It, Midnight eye cream, Infallible Setting Spray, Lumi Glotion in shade 902, Elvive Collagen-Lifter mousse, Midnight cream, Serum Le Duo, Elnett hairspray and Extensionist mascara.

As part of the deal, Bell will appear in global brand storytelling and campaigns promoting the brand’s skin care, hair care, hair color, makeup and more. Her first product campaign will highlight the 24H Midnight Cream and will be rolled out across the U.S. in the upcoming weeks.

“There is a profound beauty in a woman who knows her strength and isn’t afraid to use it. Kristen does this with a voice that is authentically hers, inspiring all women to tap into their self-confidence. As a mother, an actress and a singer, she is the modern embodiment of our iconic brand tag line, reminding us that defining your worth is a daily call to claim your space. As the number-one beauty brand in the world, we are thrilled to celebrate beauty that inspires each and every woman to realize their boundless worth,” concluded Laetitia Toupet, global brand president of L’Oréal Paris.
