Fresh off one of the best fights on the season on The Ultimate Fighter 34, Delphine Benouaich (7-2) has signed with the UFC, and will make her debut at UFC Paris this September.
The TUF 34 semifinalist, who lost to Tina Black on the show, will now face Sofia Montenegro (6-2) in Paris, France on September 5, 2026.
Benouaich herself announced her signing, and the match-up, on social media on Wednesday as part of her Instagram story.
Montenegro is a veteran of Dana White’s Contender Series, and won a UFC contract on the show despite losing a split decision against Jeisla Chaves. The Argentinian known as “La Bruja” had won three straight in MMA prior to that, while also competing in Muay Thai.
As for Benouaich, she beat Mackenzie Stiller on the show before running into Tina Black in a fight that’s in the running for the best of the season, and almost certainly best among the strawweights on the show. Despite being dejected after the loss, coaches Daniel Cormier and Michael Chiesa both assured Benouaich that she’d get an opportunity with the UFC.
Turns out the were right on the money.
