Rite Aid-Replacing Tower Coming to Corner of Smith and President?

A big change is coming to the corner of Smith and President streets in Carroll Gardens, right across from Carroll Park and at the F train stop. The entire block front on the west side of Smith Street from Union to President has sold to a developer for $21.5 million, who for now is keeping mum on their identity and future plans, according to deal brokers TerraCRG.

An affordable housing lottery has launched for an under-construction eight-story, 369-unit building on Red Hook’s Columbia Street. It is the first of three that will make up a more than 600-apartment affordable housing campus dubbed Columbia Commons.
