Hermès Preps to Open in Faux-Old New Building in Williamsburg
Hermès is set to open any day now on the corner of North 6th and Berry Street in Williamsburg. Signage is up in the windows, and the storied French luxury brand recently advertised for a general manager ahead of its long-promised fall opening of the permanent Brooklyn flagship at 111 North 6th Street.

Rite Aid-Replacing Tower Coming to Corner of Smith and President?
A big change is coming to the corner of Smith and President streets in Carroll Gardens, right across from Carroll Park and at the F train stop. The entire block front on the west side of Smith Street from Union to President has sold to a developer for $21.5 million, who for now is keeping mum on their identity and future plans, according to deal brokers TerraCRG.

Red Hook Affordable Housing Lottery Has $777 Studios
An affordable housing lottery has launched for an under-construction eight-story, 369-unit building on Red Hook’s Columbia Street. It is the first of three that will make up a more than 600-apartment affordable housing campus dubbed Columbia Commons.
