Yann Musquin will take up the role of managing director of LVMH Fragrance Brands from August 3. He succeeds Romain Spitzer, who is leaving the group after 10 years at the helm of the division. Reporting to Véronique Courtois, chair and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior and the group’s beauty division, the new executive will be tasked with strengthening the appeal of Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums.
Yann Musquin – LVMH
A graduate of HEC Paris, Yann Musquin brings 22 years’ experience in brand management within the luxury beauty sector to the role. He began his career at L’Oréal in 2004, before joining Parfums Christian Dior four years later. Appointed international marketing director for Fragrances in 2013, he oversaw the creation of the Sauvage fragrance, as well as the development of Miss Dior and La Collection Privée Christian Dior.
In 2021, he joined Louis Vuitton as director of Fragrances and Beauty. In this role, he drove the acceleration of its fragrance business and the launch of the brand’s make-up category. He subsequently joined Givenchy at the end of 2024 to become brand director of Givenchy Fragrances and Beauty.
“I had the opportunity to work closely with Yann on fragrance development at Parfums Christian Dior,” said Véronique Courtois. “I am convinced that his remarkable expertise in fragrances and the world of beauty, his commitment to excellence, and his creative vision will help to enhance the desirability of our maisons, Givenchy Parfums and Kenzo Parfums. Yann has all the qualities needed to continue developing our portfolio with ambition and success.”
In his new role, Yann Musquin will define the strategic vision for the LVMH Fragrance Brands division and will, in particular, be responsible for expanding the portfolio with new expressions across the fragrance and beauty segments. The group’s perfumes and cosmetics division includes Guerlain, Benefit Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Acqua di Parma, Fresh, and Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, as well as Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Officine Universelle Buly.
LVMH’s perfumes and cosmetics division generated €8.2 billion in revenue in the 2025 financial year. This accounted for 10% of the group’s total revenue, which was driven mainly by its fashion and leather goods division, generating €37.8 billion over the same period.
