Celine Dion is back with dates confirmed today for a five-week limited run at the renowned  Paris La Défense Arena. The announcement was made today via a video message broadcast at the Eiffel Tower on Dion’s birthday.

As fans know, the iconic landmark was where Dion performed “Hymne à l’amour” to conclude the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony, making her first public performance in four years.

The year before that she had been forced to cancel her “Courage World Tour,” which included numerous multi-date plays in European arenas between August and October 2023 and again in March and April of 2024, because she was battling the rare neurological condition stiff-person syndrome. She had previously explained that the syndrome, which attacks the spinal cord and brain, was causing debilitating spasms which didn’t allow her “to sing the way I’m used to.”

And now she’s ready to return to the stage. The limited engaged at Europe’s largest indoor arena – which a capacity of up to 40,000 – will feature 10 nights booked from Sept. 12 through Oct. 14.

“Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support,” Dion said in a statement. “This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life…I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of YOU! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”

The residency is produced by Concerts West, AEG Presents, and Inter Concerts, with creative direction from the award-winning show designer Willo Perron.

An Artist presale will begin Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00 CEST and fans can register for access through Fair AXS on celinedion.com until Thursday, April 2 at 19:00 CEST. Today’s announcement notes that “Fair AXS is designed so that eligible registrations are considered equally, with fans selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Fans will be notified via email regarding their selection status, and registering does not guarantee tickets.”
