Asset manager makes pan-Asian energy transition bet targeting mid-cap companies

TOKYO — French alternative asset manager Tikehau Capital plans to expand its Tokyo team and begin private equity investing in Japan from April, becoming the latest global private capital manager to step up its presence in the country’s buoyant market.
