Sunday’s Game
The Steelers enter Sunday with a 4-2 record, having won back-to-back games. The Saints, at 2-4, are coming off a road victory against the New York Giants last weekend.
This marks only the 18th regular-season meeting between the two teams and the 14th since the NFL and AFL merged in 1970. The Saints lead the all-time series with nine wins to the Steelers’ eight and hold the longest head-to-head winning streak with three consecutive victories. However, the Steelers won the last matchup in 2022.

Travel advisories amid protests
The game comes amid heightened travel advisories issued by the U.S. Department of State.
The advisory was raised to Level Two this week, urging Americans in France to exercise increased caution due to recent riots and demonstrations protesting the government.
Despite the advisory, many Steelers fans are still planning to attend the game, with some already in Paris.
Saturday’s march in Paris began peacefully, a week after widespread rioting and looting during protests across the country. But near the demonstration’s endpoint in eastern Paris, masked protesters hurled objects and fireworks at police, who answered with clouds of tear gas, deafening sound grenades and jets of water cannons.
The Interior Ministry put nationwide turnout at 410,000 — fewer than the 550,000 it said protested last weekend — while the CGT union that helped organize some of Saturday’s protests estimated nearly 800,000. The ministry’s estimate included 110,000 in Paris, where authorities confined the march to the city’s southeastern edge, away from the center. The CGT put the number of protesters in Paris at 250,000.

Steelers’ Paris game poster
Pittsburgh artist Kim Fox designed a special game day poster for the Steelers’ matchup against the New Orleans Saints in Paris, combining her love for France with her distinctive mixed-media style.
“The way I do these pieces, I did some research, I found some great vintage maps,” Fox said.
Fox, who has been leading the Steelers’ game day poster project for six years, said it’s important to highlight Pittsburgh’s North Side in her design.
