REUTERS<\/p>\n<p>Bystanders rushed to pull the four people from the river as emergency crews responded with 16 fire trucks, 34 firefighters, 60 police officers and river rescue teams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI realized something was happening when I heard screams and I looked out the window and saw people in the water, three people who were swimming,\u201d a witness who gave her name as Natasha told local media, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/world-news\/2026\/04\/30\/trainee-bus-driver-crashes-into-river-seine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the Telegraph<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She said she threw a lifebuoy to a young woman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe person grabbed it and managed to get on my terrace. She was in shock and wasn\u2019t coherent \u2026 it was really remarkable,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rowing coach Doriane Ledain said she saw the bus fall into the river and rushed to help.<\/p>\n<p>Rescue teams remove a car from the Seine after a bus with passengers onboard crashed into it.
