{"id":12028,"date":"2026-05-06T08:08:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T08:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/12028\/"},"modified":"2026-05-06T08:08:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T08:08:07","slug":"haut-et-court-snaps-up-cannes-critic-week-title-for-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/12028\/","title":{"rendered":"Haut Et Court Snaps Up Cannes Critic\u2019 Week Title For France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Haut et Court has snapped up French rights to Spanish actor and director Aina Clotet\u2019s debut film <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/viva\/\" id=\"auto-tag_viva\" data-tag=\"viva\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Viva<\/a> ahead of its world premiere in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/cannes\/\" id=\"auto-tag_cannes\" data-tag=\"cannes\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cannes<\/a> Critics\u2019 Week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Paris-based company acquired the film shortly after a pre-festival industry screening for French distributors organised by sales company <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/loco-films\/\" id=\"auto-tag_loco-films\" data-tag=\"loco-films\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Loco Films<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tClotet, who is known at home for her award-winning performances in series This Is Not Sweden and Someone\u2019s Daughter (La filla d\u2019alg\u00fa), directs and stars as 40-year-old Nora who is consumed with a need to feel alive having death stared death in the face.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tShe dives into passionate relationships with two very different men, Tom and Max, whose opposing natures reflect her own inner conflict. But when neither can fill the void, Nora is forced to face the truth, she will have to confront a deeper fear driving her hunger for life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Catalan, Spanish, English and French-language film is produced by Edmon Roch at Ikiru Films and Marta Bald\u00f3 at Funicular Films, the company created with Aina Clotet, Jan Andreu, Marc Clotet in 2021.
