Kathy and Paris Hilton modeled a range of all-American styles for Old Navy\u2019s new summer campaign<\/a> \u00a0\u2014\u00a0a full-circle moment, given the family\u2019s long history with the mall brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe used to take [Paris and Nicky] there when they were younger,\u201d Kathy told Page Six Style. \u201cThey loved the flip-flops.\u201d<\/p>\n

The beloved matriarch has hardly flip-flopped on her love for the label in the time since. But these days, she\u2019s shopping styles for herself instead \u2014 like her favorite \u201ctimeless\u201d Mid-Rise Wow Boyfriend Straight Jeans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe denims are beautiful, and they happen to fit me really well,\u201d she said. \u201cI noticed they were soft and they weren\u2019t heavy, because during the summertime it can get hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

While she may be a multimillionaire, Hilton\u2019s not afraid to embrace more budget-friendly fashion choices.<\/p>\n

\u201cI need to up my daytime [outfits],\u201d she added. \u201cI\u2019m gonna go through the catalogue because I don\u2019t wanna spend a fortune to be driving around doing errands.\u201d<\/p>\n

For her part, Paris referenced her signature early-aughts aesthetic with her Old Navy campaign looks \u2014 though, as Kathy confirmed, a lot has changed since that era.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a really good time [on set], and I was joking around with Paris at one time,\u201d she recalled. \u201cShe was so cute. She\u2019s like, \u2018Mom, be serious.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018OK, OK.\u2019 How the tables turn, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

These days, the mother-daughter duo is often exchanging style advice, too\u00a0\u2014 and raiding each other\u2019s enviable closets.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0have a bunch of very special pieces: Oscar de la Renta vintage, Valentino and Chanel,\u201d Kathy said. \u201cSo the girls will borrow things like that.\u00a0They can\u2019t borrow my shoes, but they can borrow my bags.\u201d<\/p>\n

But with Mother\u2019s Day on the way, Hilton\u2019s wish list doesn\u2019t include any designer duds; she told us the only gift she really wants this year is \u201cprivate time\u201d with her kids.<\/p>\n
