In March 2025, Rodeo FX acquired the Mikros Animation businesses in both Montreal and Paris, along with their respective creative workforce in animated features and episodic content, preserving the world-class talent and creative legacy built over the years. Since then, Mikros Animation has been steadily rebuilding and repositioning itself for long-term success, laying the groundwork for a year of renewed momentum in 2026.

“Our latest projects proved that ambition is what matters,” said Julien Meesters, President of Mikros Animation. “Great animation isn’t defined by the scale of the projects, it’s about how bold your ideas can be and the passion behind it. The standards we set. Our goal is to bring stories and performances to life that resonate, be it for global or independent studios. Expanding our teams, our artistry, and our capabilities is the exact thing we need right now to make it happen.”

A key milestone and priority in this renewal is the evolution of Mikros Animation’s global footprint. The studio has recently reopened its Bengaluru (Bangalore) facility, solidifying its core team by welcoming back nearly 50 of its former employees, led by Sivaraman ST, who has collaborated on numerous animated projects over the past few years. Mikros Animation is set to expand its presence in India this summer, with the ambition of growing teams, strengthening local leadership and reinforcing Bengaluru as a key creative hub within the studio’s international ecosystem.

“The reopening of the Bangalore studio is deeply meaningful for us, both professionally and personally,” said Sivaraman ST. “Welcoming back familiar faces who have grown with the studio over the years feels like bringing a family back together.”

Nicolas Delval, Head of Mikros Animation’s Montreal Studio, commented, “Our priority was always to be artist-driven. Keeping the people behind the magic together, continuing our creative journey, and safeguarding what we’ve built was paramount. We have always considered our three locations as one single studio.”

As part of this new momentum, the Parisian Mikros Animation team is also entering a new phase with the move to brand-new offices on Rue Dieu in Paris, shared with its parent company, Rodeo FX. Designed to support the studio’s continued growth, these new spaces offer more than 20,000 square feet of modern, purpose-built environments that encourage collaboration, creativity, and cross-studio synergy. By bringing Mikros Animation, the Advertising and the Film & Episodic teams of Rodeo FX Paris together under one roof in Paris, the move reinforces a shared vision and strengthens creative exchanges between animation and visual effects talents.

“Having Paris, Montreal and Bangalore working as one studio across nearly every time zone isn’t just a logistical advantage, it’s a creative one.” noted Guillaume Maucomble, Head of Mikros Animation’s Paris Studio. “That diversity pushes us towards even more ambitious projects.”

Sebastien Moreau, President & CEO of Rodeo FX, said, “This new chapter marks an exciting evolution for our teams on a global scale. Welcoming Mikros Animation into our shared spaces reflects the strength of our creative collaboration and our long-term commitment to building a unified, ambitious international network.”

Mikros Animation is now diving into major new projects, each one approached with a custom-designed creative strategy conceived with respect for the original IPs. This includes PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, the next installment in the popular kids’ animation franchise, following the success of The Mighty Movie in 2023. As well as the sequel to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie with Paramount.

Now part of Rodeo FX, Mikros Animation is embracing a more agile and visionary production model, building on a steady pipeline developed throughout the years for its feature and episodic clients, as well as the ability to tap into the technological innovations and support teams of the Rodeo FX group. An approach that, the studio points out, better reflects today’s fast-evolving animation landscape and its abundance of ambitious stories, formats and collaborators.

mikrosanimation.com

Mikros Animation, the internationally recognized animation studio behind hit titles like PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Orion and…

[2
5,9478,2143,9479,1716,9480,9481,9482,9483,2144,1717,9484,9485,9486,9487,2148
0":"post-12686","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-france","8":"tag-france","9":"tag-guillaume-maucomble","10":"tag-julien-meesters","11":"tag-mikros","12":"tag-mikros-animation","13":"tag-nicolas-delval","14":"tag-orion-and-the-dark","15":"tag-paw-patrol","16":"tag-paw-patrol-the-dino-movie","17":"tag-paw-patrol-the-mighty-movie","18":"tag-rodeo-fx","19":"tag-sivaraman-s-t","20":"tag-sivaraman-st","21":"tag-star-trek-prodigy","22":"tag-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles","23":"tag-teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-mutant-mayhem
["GET
