George, who turned 65<\/a> on Wednesday, May 6, and his wife Amal, 48, were photographed stepping off a boat in St. Tropez, France, on the country’s southern coast on Thursday, May 7, as they enjoyed lunch with friends.<\/p>\n George and Amal famously met<\/a> in 2013 when they were introduced by a mutual friend and married in Venice, Italy, in September 2014. The couple, who share 8-year-old twins Alexander and Ella<\/a>, formally made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards and have been going strong for more than 11 years since.<\/p>\n George and Amal primarily live in France; he also owns an estate in England<\/a>, a\u00a0villa on Lake Como in Italy<\/a> and another property near his family in Kentucky<\/a>.
