On Thursday evening, <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sportbible.com\/didier-deschamps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Deschamps<\/a> made his squad announcement at the FFF headquarters in Paris, and some of his picks have sparked plenty of debate amongst fans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, who has made three appearances for his country, has received a call-up, while PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani will miss out after a poor campaign on loan at Spurs.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Jean-Philippe Mateta has been selected to represent France at this summer's World Cup.
