Societe Generale has joined the London Stock Exchange Group\u2019s (LSEG) model marketplace as a provider of advanced analytical models.<\/p>\n
The move forms part of the launch of LSEG\u2019s Model-as-a-Service (MaaS), a new capability that enables financial institutions to host, distribute and analyse models through a secure and governed marketplace.<\/p>\n
As part of the collaboration, seven Societe Generale datasets and analytics will be available via LSEG\u2019s model marketplace, covering fixed income, FX, ESG, and Equities. <\/p>\n
Clients will be able to access the bank’s flagship datasets and analytics alongside LSEG\u2019s own analytics through a single, integrated experience.<\/p>\n
LSEG said that through its strategic partnership with Microsoft, MaaS enables portfolio managers, risk teams and other market participants to access datasets, analytics and models from multiple providers “securely” and at scale, without the need for additional integration.<\/p>\n
Bill Borden, corporate vice president, worldwide financial services at Microsoft said that the MaaS offering is an important step forward in helping financial institutions “harness the power of advanced analytics and AI.” <\/p>\n

Aysegul Erdem, head of modelling solutions at LSEG said that the organisation is excited to onboard the bank as one of its partners, allowing its data to be distributed, discovered, and adopted across institutions. <\/p>\n
