{"id":19933,"date":"2026-05-22T13:48:26","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T13:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/19933\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T13:48:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T13:48:26","slug":"christian-dior-data-breach-class-action-settlement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/france\/19933\/","title":{"rendered":"Christian Dior data breach class action settlement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Christian Dior agreed to a class action settlement to resolve claims surrounding a 2025 data breach that compromised customer information.<\/p>\n<p>The Dior class action settlement benefits individuals who received a notice from Christian Dior informing them that their personal information may have been compromised in a data breach in January 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/topclassactions.com\/lawsuit-settlements\/lawsuit-news\/christian-dior-hit-by-three-separate-lawsuits-over-data-breach\/\" style=\"font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">class action lawsuit<\/a> claimed Christian Dior failed to protect consumer information from a data breach in January 2025. As a result, hackers allegedly gained access to sensitive consumer information, such as names, addresses, contact information, dates of birth, government identification numbers and even Social Security numbers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dior.com\/en_us\" style=\"font-weight: bold;text-decoration: underline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Christian Dior<\/a> is a luxury fashion brand that sells clothing, accessories and cosmetics.<\/p>\n<p>Dior has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Under the terms of the Dior settlement, class members can receive up to $1,500 for documented losses resulting from the data breach. This includes identity theft, fraud and fees for credit reports. Class members must provide documentation of these expenses to receive reimbursement.<\/p>\n<p>Class members whose Social Security numbers were compromised in the data breach can receive an additional one-time payment of $100.
