\n\tLily Collins<\/a> channeled the late \u201990s in her vintage Fendi<\/a> look for her appearance on \u201cThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon\u201d in New York City on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cEmily in Paris\u201d<\/a> star turned to stylist Andrew Mukamal, who curated Collins\u2019 fall 1997 collection Fendi<\/a> look. Under the creative direction of the late Karl Lagerfeld<\/a>, the dress featured sheer material contrasted by strategically placed shapes of black fabric.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe sleeveless dress\u2019 silhouette was crafted with a formfitting bodice and a cinched waist for added definition that transitioned into a coquelicot-shaped skirt. Geometric lines and shapes of black juxtaposed the sheer elements of the dress on the bodice and skirt. <\/p>\n

\n\tCollins favored over-the-knee boots by Fendi as well to further augment the signature Lagerfeld-edgy sartorial style. As for jewelry, the actress went minimal, save for a ring and small earrings to accessorize her look and add a few touches of sparkle.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith the cultural resurgence of late \u201990s and early 2000s trends, Mukamal\u2019s choice to style Collins\u2019 in a \u201997 Fendi look coincides with other high-profile figures turning to the time period for their respective wardrobe.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor her Monday night appearance on \u201cLate Night With Seth Meyers,\u201d Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> wore a look from Chantal Thomass\u2019 fall 1994 collection. Much like Collins\u2019 Fendi look, Carpenter\u2019s dress also channeled a certain edgy appeal and aesthetic sensuality.<\/p>\n

\n\tCollins\u2019 promotional tour for the fifth season of \u201cEmily in Paris\u201d recently kicked off ahead of the Netflix debut for the new batch of episodes. Unlike previous installments, the fifth season transports fans to Rome, picking up where the fourth season left off as Emily, played by Collins, tries to open a new agency in the Italian capital.
