Cyclamen flowers\u2014little pink-and-white buds\u2014canopied the entire ceiling of the runway tent at Jonathan Anderson’s debut Christian Dior couture collection for spring 2026. Those same flowers bloomed across models’ ears via an accessory designed by Stephen Jones, reminiscent of headphones or earmuffs, and they even inspired some of the tones in the fresh, luminous makeup look.<\/p>\n

“When I saw the collection, the whole lineup, actually, I thought it was a very young haute couture,” Peter Philips, creative and image director of Christian Dior Makeup, tells Bazaar. “It’s all about luminosity. To me, there’s nothing more that captures youth than luminous radiance.” Given the floral headpieces, Philips and his team chose a pared-down makeup look: sheer lilac blush, pink lip oil, touches of pink highlighter, and no mascara (a makeup trend that’s still going strong). <\/p>\n
“Here, we played more with subtle tones, a more youthful, more modern approach to skin, with highlighting and pearlescence,” he says. To get the look, Philips credits the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation<\/a>, the Dior Forever Glow Luminizer in Pink Halo<\/a>, and the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil<\/a> in both 001 Pink and 041 Peachy as hero products. “I used the Lumiziner on the eyelids and then blended it out to the cheeks, the nose bridge, and the Cupid’s bow,” Philips says. The Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Stick in Pink Lilac <\/a>was added softly across the cheeks to balance the pink reflection of the flowers on the models’ faces. <\/p>\n But what had everyone talking after the show were the “veils of hair” created by renowned hairstylist Guido Palau\u2014face-covering clip-in bangs in the same soft pink shade as cyclamen flowers. The hairstylist is on a bit of a color kick with Anderson, who just showed neon-yellow wigs on the Dior men’s runway last week. “There’s a romanticness to it, the veils and the colors are very soft and pretty,” Palau tells Bazaar. “There’s a futuristic vibe as well.
