But today it fits perfectly into the interiors of our time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unveiled in Milan during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.architecturaldigest.com\/story\/the-best-of-milan-design-week-2026-according-to-ad-editors\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Salone del Mobile<\/a>, some of Louis Vuitton\u2019s new offerings mark subtle updates to the originals. That table, now christened the Celeste Coiffeuse, for example, is wrapped in leather, while the African-inspired Riviera Chilienne oak folding chair has been inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Others, however, use Legrain\u2019s visual language as a mere jumping-off point. (Fashion designer Jacques Doucet was a frequent patron.) \u201cThe graphics, the materials, and the originality of colors were so amazing that they inspired our whole textile collection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Legrain\u2019s distinct visual language offered endless prompts for Louis Vuitton\u2019s own savoir faire. Folding screens show off the brand\u2019s skill with wood.
