Construction is moving fast on The Lion King land at Disneyland Paris. DLP Works<\/a> shared a new update highlighting several concrete walls erected at the Pride Lands site and more.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Lion King\u2019 Land Construction\"Announced<\/a><\/p>\n

Announced<\/a> in 2024, Pride Lands is the next addition to the recently-renamed Disney Adventure World. It will sit next to World of Frozen along Adventure Bay. The cranes at the construction site remain \u201chighly active,\u201d according to DLP Works.<\/p>\n

Several concrete walls and pillars are now throughout the construction zone. Concrete footers for future foundations are also visible on the ground between the walls.<\/p>\n

Much of the construction is getting taller than the construction walls, which are adorned with African patterns, animal prints, and concept art for the land.<\/p>\n

\"In<\/a><\/p>\n

The main attraction will be a log flume ride<\/a> like Tiana\u2019s Bayou Adventure and Splash Mountain. Telling the story of Simba, it will incorporate bioluminescent technology<\/a>, detailed environments, advanced Audio-Animatronics, and music from the\u00a0animated movie.<\/p>\n

Ride testing began last year<\/a> with prototype vehicles and recently advanced to testing with water, as seen in the video below.<\/p>\n

An interview with Imagineers<\/a>\u00a0suggested\u00a0The Lion King\u00a0meet and greet characters could utilize similar robotics technology to the new walking, talking Olaf animatronic.<\/p>\n

A new Up ride is also under construction<\/a> along the lagoon.<\/p>\n
