Or, more specifically, the multinational luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE). Jiffy bags were traded in for Noé’s and Speedy Bandoulières and Dogma riders around the world dreamed of a full-LV cusom paint schemes.

That era ran from 2016 to roughly 2023 when LVMH sold Pinarello to an unnamed private entity. INEOS’s fortunes have been in decline ever since, just saying.

Three years later, the duo are back together and the Dogma is on a catwalk. At the LV SS2027 men’s show, a model in what looks like some sort of wetsuit walks the sandy runway (there seems to be some sort of surf theme) carries a LV branded bike.

OK, we don’t really know fashion. But we do know that’s a Dogma. With some funny, Spinergy-looking carbon-bladed tri-spoke wheels. The bike, wheels and seatpost are painted in a dark leathery brown, while the fork, stem and lower cage on that Dura-Ace derailleur are chromed out. Add a lighter tone of leather for the bar tape and seat and you have one heck of a hand bag. Too bad they missed the chance to run tan sidewalls. Would have really tied the look together.

LV describes the look as part of “A Dandy Experience,” casting the beach as “a global stage.” Carrying it was a good idea. Wouldn’t want to get sand in that drivetrain.

Hopefully someone gets to ride this thing after the show. The comments section isn’t too kind to this look, so someone might as well enjoy it.

Anyway…

For a brief but arguably glorious period of time, Pinarello was owned by Louis Vuitton.
