June 25 (Reuters) – French cloud computing group OVHcloud reported organic revenue growth of 6.9% in \u200cthe third quarter, up from 5.1% in the \u200cprevious quarter, supported by its public cloud division, and also confirmed \u200bits full-year outlook. <\/p>\n
The growth was led by markets outside France, with the rest of Europe up 7.4% and the rest of the world up 8.6%, outpacing \u200cdomestic growth of \u20605.8%, suggesting April price hikes have not dampened demand. <\/p>\n
Revenue rose to \u20ac289.6 million ($329.28 million) in \u2060the three-month period ended May, up from \u20ac271.9 million a year earlier. For the nine months to May, revenue \u200breached \u20ac844.9 million, \u200bup 6% on a \u200blike-for-like basis. <\/p>\n
Public cloud, where \u200cthe operator delivers computing power and storage over the internet on a pay-as-you-go basis, grew 20.2% to \u20ac65.6 million, accounting for roughly 23% of total revenue, helped by customer gains following the launch of its \u200cVPS 2027 virtual server offering aimed \u200bat smaller clients. <\/p>\n
Private cloud, a \u200bdedicated infrastructure managed \u200bfor individual clients, grew 4.0% to \u20ac174.0 \u200cmillion, while web cloud, which \u200bincludes domain names \u200band hosting, edged up 2% to \u20ac50 million. <\/p>\n
The net revenue retention rate, a measure of how much \u200bexisting customers \u200care spending relative to the prior year, reached \u200b102%. <\/p>\n
