\n\tWilly Chavarria<\/a> is growing further into his footwear assortment with a slew of new offerings for spring\/summer 2027 collection.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn his biggest reveal of the season, Chavarria previewed his first capsule collection with Ugg<\/a> featuring five footwear styles that will arrive later this year in September.<\/p>\n

\n\tLeading the runway was Romeo Beckham, model and son of David and Victoria Beckham, who debuted the new Ugg<\/a> x Willy Chavarria<\/a> Biker boot. Also seen on the runway was the unisex Ugg x Willy Chavarria Guard Boot was styled with layered silk boxers and an oversized bomber jacket and the Ugg x Willy Chavarria Hotel Slipper with both models sporting that same layered look on top, mesh or long shorts on bottom, and tall white calf socks.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a preview at the designer\u2019s Brooklyn studio ahead of his Paris fashion week men\u2019s show, Chavarria told FN that his connection to Ugg steams from his California roots. \u201cI\u2019m from California, and I\u2019m very familiar with the Ugg culture, and it was very popular with the surfers,\u201d he explained. \u201cSo I thought it would be great to do my own take on the idea of a cozy motorcycle boot that has all the properties of an Ugg silhouette.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the show, only three of the silhouettes were previewed, however there are two more yet to be seen by the public. \u201cThe hotel slippers are one of my favorite styles in this drop because they are just so chic,\u201d the designer quipped. \u201cAnd you can wear them outside even though we made the outsole very soft. It still can be worn out in the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTurning to Chavarria\u2019s ongoing Adidas<\/a> partnership, the designer told FN that currently he is focused on his most recent World Cup capsule that he released earlier this month<\/a>. But he teased he would showcase a new Stan Smith style during fashion week\u2026which, he did.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring Friday\u2019s show, two colorways<\/a> of an unreleased Willy Chavarria Stan Smith were teased. One of which was worn by the designer as he took his final bow, wearing a white pair that features a green hairy suede heel and green rose detailing on the side of the upper. The tennis legend himself was also spotted in a textured green suede colorway as well. More release details are set to come soon, but it is anticipated to drop in late summer or early fall.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs far as Chavarria\u2019s main line shoe collection, which he debuted for the first time in Paris last season<\/a>, he is continuing on with creating refined silhouettes with a new partner. During the walkthrough earlier this month, the designer told FN that he is now working with Giuseppe Zanotti<\/a> to develop the line. The collection includes multiple heels for women and several loafer options for men.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel very excited about our footwear offering,\u201d Chavarria added. \u201cWhat we\u2019ve done is offer different levels of shoes for our customer in terms of tiered pricing. We\u2019ve got our luxury shoes that really tie back to our luxury, runway items that we make with Zanotti in Europe. Then we have our casual shoes and our collaboration with Ugg, which really pairs back to our more casual sports vibe. And finally, we have sneakers with Adidas<\/a>, which is a whole other territory. So I feel that we cover a lot of different categories and landing great products on all the three key tiers is critical for how the business is going right now.\u201d<\/p>\n
