The dust is settling after the hottest Paris Men\u2019s Fashion Week<\/a> in history. While most of the eyes were on the bombastic, beachy runway shows<\/a> and the boost in bright colors<\/a>, footwear fans kept their gaze pointed downwards. While PFW rarely garners a retro Air Jordan reveal or a peek at LeBron\u2019s latest signature sneaker, it has become the stage on which many high-profile fashion houses reveal their latest sportswear collaborations and in-house sneaker models.<\/p>\n

This week proved no different, with five easy standouts that will have us scouring the internet for official drop dates in the months to come. New partnerships were revealed, established ones continued their dominant runs, and one big name stirred things up with the reveal of its latest silhouette. These are the sneakers that defined Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

While many of the biggest European houses\u2014from Dior<\/a> to Gucci<\/a> to Jacquemus<\/a>\u2014have jumped into the sneaker collaboration game in recent years, Celine remained a holdout. That all changed in Paris last week, when the Michael Rider-led label revealed a clean new spin on the Reebok Freestyle. Celine and Reebok are a bit of a left-field pairing. The sneaker brand has struggled to find a foothold culturally in recent years, and while its dabbled in high fashion here and there\u2014most notably with Maison Margiela\u2014those partnerships have never quite stuck. That could all change here: Celine\u2019s first Reebok joint is a simple iteration of the \u201980s women\u2019s workout silhouette, with a sleek white leather exterior and some cheeky logo flips on the tongue. The shoes were shown scuffed up and dirty on the runway, but the re-see revealed that they will, in fact, be sold new and clean.<\/p>\n
