<\/a><\/p>\nMoana was the first princess revealed when the cavalcade was announced<\/a> earlier this year. Raya was then announced<\/a> alongside the premiere date \u2014\u00a0July 24. The cavalcade will make its way through Disney Adventure World, the former Walt Disney Studios Park<\/a>, which was renamed with the opening of its World of Frozen expansion.<\/p>\n With the announcement that Tiana and Rapunzel will join Raya and Moana, Disneyland Paris also shared a preview of the cavalcade\u2019s \u201cMake My Way\u201d anthem. Listen in the Instagram video below.<\/p>\n The cavalcade is produced by Claire Salmon, who oversees every aspect of the show. Salmon said in an interview that production is \u201cdriven by one goal: to deliver a unique and unforgettable show to our guests, on time and within budget. To achieve this, it is necessary, amongst other things, to ensure that the delivery of the floats coincides with the start of the performers\u2019 rehearsals, that the performers have been recruited and have rehearsed indoors beforehand, and that all the necessary preparations have been made. I often say this, but it\u2019s true: it really is like being an orchestra conductor!\u201d<\/p>\n This will be the first-ever cavalcade at Disney Adventure World and Salmon said, \u201cIt\u2019s a real challenge to create a live performance for a venue that didn\u2019t even exist a year ago. We had to look ahead and imagine how best to incorporate it even before we\u2019d seen it finished.\u201d<\/p>\n The Disney Princess Cavalcade is part procession, part show with a \u201cshow stop\u201d when the floats halt and performers interact with guests.<\/p>\n Salmon described the route of the cavalcade as a \u201ctwo-way path\u201d running from the entrance to the future Lion King land to The Regal View Restaurant before returning to the starting point, where the show stop takes place.<\/p>\n \u201cThis will give spectators the chance to enjoy the spectacle twice over,\u201d she explained, \u201cfirst on the outward journey, and then again on the return journey, as they get to see these magnificent floats both ways.\u201d<\/p>\n In mid-June, the team took the first floats onto the grounds, timing and measuring speed to ensure what they had in mind from a technical perspective matched the vision of the directors. They then made some adjustments \u201cbut above all we made sure the cavalcade fitted perfectly into the surroundings, as if it had always been there.\u201d<\/p>\n The floats were designed by Thomas Gallou, who also designed the boats for A Celebration in Arendelle<\/a>. Behind-the-scenes photos from Disneyland Paris include a peek at The Princess and the Frog float with an image of two frogs kissing alongside musical instruments.<\/p>\n \u201cOur cavalcade will take place in an area that is fairly neutral in terms of theming. We therefore needed a very strong theme for the floats and the performers, particularly through the costumes,\u201d said Salmon. \u201cMusic is also a very important factor in creating a sense of immersion. We have taken particular care to ensure we have sufficient resources to provide the best possible experience for all our guests. Firstly, the floats are already fitted with their own audio systems. But we also have the support of the parade units, which will add an extra dimension. From the moment the floats first set off, we made sure that the various sound sources were well balanced throughout the route to give our guests the best possible experience, wherever they might be watching. It will be particularly impressive when the cavalcade stops and the performers invite the children to come and dance with them.
