Schneider Electric has been named the World\u2019s Most Sustainable Company by TIME Magazine and Statista for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its position as a global leader in energy technology and sustainability. The recognition comes as the company advances its new Impact 2030 roadmap, reporting significant progress in emissions reductions, energy efficiency, supplier engagement and workforce development.<\/p>\n

The ranking evaluates 5,000 of the world’s largest and most influential companies and recognizes organizations that integrate sustainability into their business strategy, corporate governance and operational performance.<\/p>\n

“Being recognized by TIME and Statista for the third year in a row is an honour. As energy becomes increasingly central to growth, competitiveness, and progress, the need to use it more intelligently continues to grow. We believe energy intelligence is a key enabler of both efficiency and decarbonization, helping our customers create lasting value while reducing emissions,” said Olivier Blum, CEO, Schneider Electric.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The recognition coincides with the launch of Impact 2030,\u00a0Schneider Electric’s new sustainability roadmap.<\/a> The strategy is built around four pillars: electrifying the world, reinventing industry, unlocking human potential and empowering local communities. The company said it measures progress through quarterly performance indicators to ensure accountability across the organization.<\/p>\n

During 1Q26, Schneider Electric reported an 82.5% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 CO\u2082 emissions compared with its 2017 baseline, reflecting progress in decarbonizing its operations. During the same period, the company helped customers save or electrify 47.5 million MWh of energy and avoid or eliminate 20Mt of CO\u2082 emissions. Schneider Electric also said that 14% of its major products currently in the design phase already meet its circular economy and environmental excellence standards.<\/p>\n

Schneider Electric said collaboration across its value chain remains central to its sustainability strategy. During 1Q26, more than 1,100 suppliers participated in the company’s Zero Carbon Pathway initiative, extending climate accountability throughout its supply chain.<\/p>\n

The company also expanded access to sustainable electricity for more than 2.8 million people through community-based energy solutions and provided technical education and training in energy, electrification and automation to 113,000 people during the quarter. Since 2009, Schneider Electric has trained more than 1.2 million people through these programs.<\/p>\n

“As we begin a new sustainability cycle with both ambition and humility, this third recognition gives us confidence that we are on the right path, and the responsibility to go even further,” said Esther Finidori, Chief Sustainability Officer, Schneider Electric.\u00a0<\/p>\n
