\n\tA new collection reimagines the legacy of American denim through the lens of French couture<\/a> savoir-faire.<\/p>\n

\n\tLevi\u2019s debuted a 10-piece collaboration<\/a> with Christelle Kocher, artistic director of Maison Lemari\u00e9, during Paris Couture Week on Monday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe capsule is developed entirely around denim as its core material. Kocher\u2019s designs push the boundaries of the durable material through feather work, hand embroidery, pliss\u00e9 drapery, floral constructions and sculptural fabric treatments.<\/p>\n

\n\tThrough textile manipulation and hand craftsmanship, the collection creates a refined dialogue between denim and French artisanal expertise, incorporating intricate pliss\u00e9 work, feather and floral constructions and delicate lace applications. Resin-coated denim fragments and leather embroideries add structure to pieces.<\/p>\n

\n\tLevi\u2019s icons like the 501 jean<\/a> and the Type II jacket are elevated with feathers, embroidery and sculptural detailing. Structured and fluids silhouettes co-mingle, spanning draped black denim gowns, abstract floral bustiers and degrad\u00e9 feather capes.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccessories evolve the narrative, with the Levi\u2019s Baby Brooklyn Bag reinterpreted as a \u201ccouture<\/a> object\u201d and dramatic feather headpieces designed to \u201camplify silhouette, movement and emotion.\u201d The result is a seamless blend of Levi\u2019s authentic denim heritage and Kocher\u2019s couture-driven approach.<\/p>\n
