Since production began in 1993, the factory manufactured 2,251,416 Clios, making the model synonymous with Slovenian car production and one of the country\u2019s most recognizable industrial success stories.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over 33 years, Revoz assembled four generations of the Clio, with the second generation accounting for nearly 1.5 million units. The model consistently ranked among Slovenia\u2019s best-selling cars and became known as the country\u2019s \u201cnational car,\u201d while the fifth-generation Clio was named Slovenian Car of the Year in 2020.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Novo Mesto plant is now entering a new phase focused on electric mobility. Production has shifted to the Renault Twingo E-Tech, with around 300 vehicles currently rolling off the assembly line each day. According to Revoz, demand has exceeded expectations, with the electric city car recording the strongest order intake in Renault\u2019s history on the Slovenian market during its first months on sale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, the factory plans to expand production further by introducing a second shift in September and adding two more compact electric models based on the same platform, including the Dacia Spring and a new Nissan model.
